Which file formats does Veldra Convert support?
We support conversions between PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, MP3, WAV and FLAC. Document, image and audio formats can all be converted across categories, such as DOCX to PDF or HEIC to JPG. We are continually adding new formats, so if something you need is missing, let us know.
Will my formatting be preserved?
Yes. Our slogan exists for a reason: fonts, tables, footnotes and page breaks are preserved when converting between document formats. In the rare case that an embedded font is not licensed for embedding, we substitute the closest metric-compatible font so your layout stays intact.
What are the file size limits?
The Free plan allows files up to 50 MB, Pro at $6/month allows up to 1 GB per file, and Team at $19/month allows up to 2 GB per file. Free accounts are also limited to 10 conversions per day, whilst paid plans are unlimited. If a file is too large, splitting it or upgrading your plan will usually solve the problem.
How long do you keep my files?
Your uploaded files and converted results are deleted automatically two hours after the conversion completes. We do not keep backups of your files beyond that window, so please download your results promptly. Nothing is retained for any other purpose.
Are my files private?
Yes. Files and results are deleted automatically two hours after conversion, and we run no analytics or trackers of any kind. We cannot see the contents of your documents, and we never share them with third parties. Your conversions are yours alone.
Can you convert scanned PDFs?
Yes. Pro and Team plans include OCR for scanned PDFs, which recognises the text in the image and makes it selectable and editable. The OCR queue is prioritised, so scanned documents are processed quickly. The Free plan does not include OCR.
Can I convert HEIC photos from my phone?
Yes. Simply open Veldra Convert in your phone's browser; there is nothing to install. HEIC photos convert cleanly to JPG or PNG, and the whole service works on any modern browser, desktop or mobile. Your converted images are ready to download within moments.
Will converting FLAC to MP3 reduce audio quality?
FLAC is a lossless format, so some compression loss is unavoidable when converting to MP3. We use high bitrates by default to keep the difference inaudible for most listening. If you need lossless audio throughout, converting between FLAC and WAV preserves every sample.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will keep access until the end of the billing period. If you are not satisfied, we offer refunds on request within 14 days of your first payment. Just let us know and we will process it promptly.
What does the Team plan include?
Team costs $19/month and includes everything in Pro for five seats, plus a shared workspace and 2 GB per file. It also supports invoice billing for easier expense handling. If you need more seats, contact us and we will arrange it.
